Juniata students can study abroad on every continent except Antarctica, in the following countries:
- Africa: The Gambia
- Asia: China, India, Japan
- Europe: Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Russia, Spain, United Kingdom
- North America: Canada, Mexico
- Oceania: Australia, New Zealand
- South America: Ecuador
Program Types and Duration
For program courses that have already been assigned Juniata credit and FISHN designations, please see the International Course Database. Juniata supports the following types of programs; duration of the program may be fall (F), spring (S), year-long (Y), or summer (SU):
- Students on Juniata Direct Exchange (EXC) programs enroll directly in the host institution.
- Limited Enrollment (LE) programs are competitive, with requirements of 3.0 minimum GPA and appropriate recommendations. Some programs are limited enrollment during spring semester only.
- For Brethren Colleges Abroad (BCA) programs, see specific program pages for minimum GPA and other requirements. Some BCA programs are limited enrollment in the spring. For BCA programs, students pay a BCA application fee.
